The young judges picked the best Argentine wines

The 8th edition of “VinoSub30” has ended, one of the contests in which only young people award the best Argentine products. In this opportunity, 4 wines earned double gold medal.

The young jury of VinoSub30 consisted of 24 tasters under the age of 30. During three days, they had to assess 369 wines in blind tastings. The 8th edition of this competition was held on November 16 and 18 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This year, the panel’s judges awarded 114 wines from 54 wineries, of which 4 achieved Double Gold Medal. The great winners were 2006 Monteviejo Lindaflor Malbec, 2009 Monteviejo Calypso Malbec, 2009 Ponce de León Cabernet Sauvignon and Ruca Malén Brut. The other 110 exponents reached Gold Medal.
