The winery Finca La Celia plans to increase from 20% to 25% its sales of wines inside Argentina through its Premium lines, with a projected price range of $18 to $55 pesos, according to Marcelo SrBovic, general manager of the winery.Currently half of their domestic sales are in Buenos Aires, and the other half spread throughout the country.
The Premium lines count on a seal of approval from Cristian García, chief enologist of the group, and of the prestigious enologist Paul Hobbs, who also consults them from the vines up.
Finca La Celia was re-founded in 2000 and belongs to the Chilean group Viña San Pedro Tarapacá Wine Group. In 2010, they estimate to invest close to 2.5 million US dollars to improve technology, winemaking research, production improvements, and packaging
