At “VII Foro Internacional Vitivinícola” (International Wine Forum), to take place at the “Hotel Intercontinental”, in Mendoza, Argentina, on 7th and 8th September, Tommy Lam will speak about the wine market trends in China and South Korea, apart from the Argentine wines’ opportunities in those markets. The wine expert, born in China, holds a Wine MBA granted by “Bordeaux Ecole de Management” (Bordeaux, France), an MBA given by the University of Dubuque (United States) and he has obtained several certificates as wine specialist and sommelier in the United States.
It is worth remembering that China accounts for 86% of the region consumption and 10% of the globe consumption. Clearly, wine producers are focusing on supplying it. These figures gain more importance if we consider that its population amounts to 1,338,612,968 inhabitants.
