Argentina has doubled bulk wine exports to the United States

This data has derived from comparing Argentina exports between the first quarter of 2011 and 2010. Among the causes, the increase of Chile’s bulk wine prices and a small crop were mentioned. In the United States, business opportunities arise regarding Moscatel de Alejandría.

In the last months of 2010 and first months of 2011, it was reported a considerable increase in the Argentina bulk wine exports to the United States. It came as a relief to local producers whose competitiveness had been swept away by other countries like Spain and Italy, in the major markets of the world.

It is possible to experience a rise in the bulk wine price, but to a lesser extend and only in some categories and varieties demanded by the American market.
