I was born in the mountains, a trickle of glaciel runoff, the melted product of countless centuries of fallen snow. I now am a river. My path is guided by sandy banks, comprised of the millions of variable grains that are the experiences and interactions in my life. My course is presented with boulders in my path to flow peacefully around. Although white water is ocasionally inevitable, my current finds the least resisted path through obstacles. While I have little control over where the banks direct me in the long run, I am not helpless in determining my future course. With enough energy, my current can carry silt, it can move banks.
