Mendoza province to invest 4.1 million pesos to change stoplights in 57 corners

This stage will emulate a previous project that replaced or repaired stoplights in 47 corners in 2008. This will complete at least 20% of the work needed to be done on the provinces 625 stoplights in the whole province.

In addition, news stoplights will use the LED technology, instead of the classic incandescent lamps, which will use less energy,

Plans also include the installation of some cameras and traffic monitoring equipment connected to control centers to help regulate the flow of traffic.
