Fifth Olivinus Olive Oil Competition Coming to Mendoza

Judges and participants are getting geared up for the fifth annual Olivinus International Olive Oil Competition. This year’s competition, which will be held the end of August at the Hotel Internacional in Mendoza, Argentina, will feature the participation of 21 countries and over 400 extra virgin olive oils.

Olive oil producers from Chile, Uruguay, Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Italy, Colombia, Australia, Japan, Cyprus, Lebanon, Angola, Tunisia, Malta, Turkey, Greece, Argentina and the United States have already submitted their entries. Submissions from France, Mexico and several northern African countries are on their way, according to competition organizers.
