According to Mendoza City Mayor Victor Fayad, starting today July 1st, vehicles will no longer be able to take a right at the Sheraton as they come down Rivadavia street from San Martin Street.
That one way street is called Primitivo de la Reta and it will be heading north only as of today, for at least 30 days during an experimental period while the city works on ongoing pavement processes and seasonal tree trimming.
Business visitors, tourists, and other people who rent cars from “car rental row”, the small stretch of Primitivo de la Reta street just south of the Sheraton, where some of the car rental companies are, will have to return their rental cars via Alem or Don Bosco street (see map), starting today.
Note: The Mendoza Sun placed a verification call this morning to a car rental company on "car rental row" and was told the direction change had not occured yet, and it is noteworthy that in the video of the source listed below, that "starting Friday" had been mentioned.
