Wineries in Mendoza used to be modestly constructed with mud mixed with straw, roofed with cane and then topped off with another layer of mud. These days, however, with the help of world-renowned architects Bormida & Yanzon, Mendoza boasts a wide array of unique, contemporary-designed wineries that tourists can now easily visit with a newly published Wine Architecture Guide.

The guide, which you can download here, maps out a route for visitors to see Bormida&Yanzon's award-winning designs while tasting some of the region's finest wines. The map includes 14 wineries located in Godoy Cruz, Lujan de Cuyo, Tupungato and Tunuyan.
