By iu-to-i.comA focus on the "five Argentinas" could make the country the perfect place to spend a gap year in 2011.
Leonardo Boto, executive secretary of an Argentinean tourism delegation that attended the recent World Travel Market conference in London, says there are a number of different reasons to visit the South American destination.
They include its culture and its natural environment, its gastronomy – including its wines – the wealth of activities on offer and the different provinces in which meetings can be scheduled.
Buenos Aires is one province with a number of cities where a meeting can be booked for anyone undertaking some business while on a gap year in Argentina.
For those who are there for the food and drink, the Mendoza region could be one option, due to its production of Malbec wine, a variety of red that typically requires a consistent climate in order to thrive.
