One of the most well known corners of Plaza Independencia in downtown Mendoza city, which housed Blockbuster Video for years before they closed several months back, has gone from the familiar blue to an orange façade dedicated to the new “Kingo” fast food eatery.Kingo plans to offer a wide range of fast foods, including hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, coffee, chocolates, ice cream, and “many more things” according to a source familiar with the company who controls the brand. They plan to be open 7 days a week, and 24 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays, and is planning on opening its doors to the public this week.
Kingo plans to differentiate themselves from competition with its own flavors, and quality owners and employees and plans to tap into local wholesale food markets to dish its specialties, and to further broaden their brand in Mendoza.
