Argentina, Brazil create US$100M investment fund

articlenopicEconomy Minister Amadour Boudou and Brazilian counterpart Guido Mantega announced the creation of an investment fund aimed at financing Argentine companies, amid the framework of a series of meetings held today in São Paulo .

According to the available information, Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), Argentine state-owned bank Banco Nación and Investment and Foreign Trade Bank (BICE) will participate in the US$ 100 million fund, which is set to be effective in two months.

Industry Minister Débora Giorgi and Brazilian counterpart Miguel Jorge also attended the meeting.
