The primary fiscal surplus in Argentina soared 229.4 percent to 3.02 billion pesos in May year-on-year, according to the figures provided by Economy Minister Amado Boudou. The volume reported is three times higher than the one reported during the same month last year.The overall government figures swung back into the black in May, with a fiscal surplus of 2.6 billion pesos during the month, nearly quadruple a year earlier.
