Economy grows 9.7% in May

articlenopicThe Centre for the Economic Studies led by Orlando J. Ferreres & Asociados reported Argentina's economy increased 9.7 percent during May year-on-year. During the first five months of the year it accumulates a 6.5 percent increase.

According to the report, Argentina's economy improved 0.8 percent from the previous month in non-seasonal terms.

"After twelve months of growth, the economy has practically achieved to recover its loss generated by the crisis. As we had previously said, the growth of the first semester would be strong due to the recovery of the agrarian sector, which accumulates a 52.6 annual increase."
