The increase in the cost of living was 0.8 percent in May, according to the INDEC National Statistics Bureau.The cost of living climbed 5.1 percent in the first months of the year, INDEC reported.
Wholesale prices meanwhile rose 1 percent in May, 6.8 percent so far in the current year, according to the official data.
Construction-related cost gained 3.8 percent in the previous month, 8 percent so far in 2010, the report added.
INDEC National Statistics Bureau also reported that the basic food basket rose 0.11 percent, totaled ARG$532.21 in May against the previous month.
The total basic basket for a four member type family meanwhile zoomed 0.3 percent to ARG$1,153.70 in May from April, according to INDEC.
