Within the framework of her institutional trip to China, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner gave a conference on several issues. She highlighted that Argentina is seeking to attend the next G20 meeting with a "specific programme" in order to "combat fiscal parasites." As regards the international group, she called for it to "outline a financial regulation scheme."The Head of State spoke at Beijing University of International Business and Economics and highly assured "Argentina believes it is convenient to attend the next G20 meeting with a specific financial regulation scheme in order to combat fiscal parasites for crisis not to be repeated."
"It is important to realize we are immersed on a new international scenario. Countries should grow at a harmonious pace," Fernández de Kirchner stressed.
The President received a degree Honoris Causa, which she described as "the people's victory, not a personal victory." She was escorted by Foreign Affairs Minister Héctor Timerman, Industry Minister Débora Giorgi, among other businessmen and representatives belonging to the official delegation.
The President concluded assuring she expected "relations between the two countries are that of prosperity and tighter bonds."
