President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is set to sign bilateral trade agreements totalling US$10 billion with China within the framework of her official visit to the Asian country scheduled for July 13, Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman reported today."It is set to be an extraordinary trip, in which both sides will sign trade agreements for over US$10 billion," according to Timerman's statements during a radio interview earlier today.
The Argentine official also said that Kirchner's visit is "to strengthen the relationship between two close partners, not only in relation to trade affairs, but also in relation to political issues, since both Argentina and China are G-20 countries and have many topics in common within the different international forums.
