The labor demand index elaborated by the Center for Financial Research (CIF) at the Torcuato Di Tella University declined 1 percent in June from the previous month, hit 58.9 points. "The index is 45.1 percent below the estimates posted in February 2008, when the labor demand started to decline in Argentina," according to Martín González Rozada, CIF's head of research.
