Taking advantage of the Asian market growth as regards wine consumption, ProMendoza, a foundation that encourages the growth of small and medium-sized companies in Mendoza, organized the third round of business with importers from this continent. This time, the meeting gathered 25 local wineries and 8 importers from India, Taiwan, Israel, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Japan and Thailand.
The schedule included business interviews and visits to the wineries chosen by importers. According to the Undersecretary of Industrial Promotion, Javier Espina, “Asia is a market that is growing and attracts everybody’s attention. We are very glad about the importers’ reception and willingness to know about Mendoza and its wines. As regards participating wineries, the demand exceeds our expectations considering space and time. We have prioritized the first 25 registered people.”
