articlenopicARGENTINA will export more canned peaches to Brazil following an agreement between Mendoza's processed foods promotion board and members of the Brazilian canned peach sector. The quota will now increase to 10.5 cans from 9.5 million cans in 2009.

Tariffs were also discussed at the meeting, with the Board of Processed Fruit from Mendoza (CAFIM) and the Federation for Strategic Planning for Processed Peach (FEPEDI) present from Argentina, along with representatives of the Federation of Río do Soul Industry and the Sweets and Canned Peaches Syndicate from Brazil.
